Double Click Backup

I want to provide a way for my parents to back up their laptops onto a portable hard drive or memory stick. There are a couple issues with this.

1. The backup media won't always be plugged in so they will have to initiate the backup. I'm looking for something simple and shortcutable into an icon on the desktop.
2. I'm looking for something incremental. It doesn't have to do partial files, but if the file is different, I want an overwrite of the file. I don't want to backup files that are already backed up and have not changed.

Can anyone recommend something, preferably free?

NTBackup can be scripted and can do everything you're looking for... but it might take a little time for you to learn how scripting it works. If you're up to it, it can do it.
