the nikon is still relatively signifcantly more expensive than the 300D... body alone, you can snag the 300D for under $780. D70 is edging it's way to a 10D. Granted, it all depends on what you plan on doing w/ the camera and what features you need etc... I'm looking for either a D30 or will pick up a rebel soon. I wish the black rebels were out now here tho.

That link works for me... but is that place a good place to buy things from? Never heard of it before...

i never heard of them also, the deal seems ok, but the memory card is only 4x, i'm not an expert and also dont have the D70 yet but from what everyone has said better to get something faster.

Now i have the dilema of buying the camera online or at a local store, online you get free shipping and no tax, locally i have to pay the NY state 8.6% of almost 110 dollars extra ouch.

and i hate getting things shipped because they always come when i'm at work and require a signature and i end up going to pick it up myself.
