Hey guys whats up. I've been running my water cooling setup for awhile now and I've been now itching to redo my loop but haven't done so yet. One of the biggest reasons is how much it is going to suck to drain my loop. That's why I'm in the market for some sort of drain valve.
I was looking for something simple and easy to drain and something that isn't restrictive. I was looking at this koolance drain valve "no nozzles". The thing that scares me is that it has an anodized aluminum body. I'm not sure if I should go with this because of corrosion. Is there a better alternative to this? I'm using masterkleer 7/16 ID (5/8 OD)
I also wanted to fit my 9800GTX with a XSPC full waterblock. Is this a good block or would you recommend something else? (I'd rather have full cover blocks) Would my loop be able to handle it?
My loop:
D-Tek V1 CPU water block (On a E6750 Dual core with mild OC to 3.3 GHz)
MCP 655 Vario
Swiftech MicroRes
Swiftech MCR 320 Radiator
Masterkleer 7/16
Any information and suggestions appreciated! Thanks
