Hi. Been reading but not finding exactly what I need.
So I run a dual monitor setup. Currently I use a GTX660 but am getting a 970. The way I have it set up is 1 monitor per DVI connector. So 2 DVIs, 2 Monitors. I am about to get a new internal capture card. It takes HDMI for capture.
So my question is. Will I be able to use one of the HDMI ports on my graphics card to display the exact same image that is coming out of one of my DVI ports? My main game monitor is on DVI, and I want to capture that same image on my monitor to the capture card. Essentially I want the same game video output from two sources, while keeping my second monitor up for apps and such. I don't like messing with splitters and stuff if I don't have to.
