Dual Monitor Problem

I am running two Dell 2001FPs on a Gainward GS 6800GT Dual DVI...

The problem is that every so often the second monitor (the newest one) flashes on and off like every 10, maybe 20 minutes like it's refreshing the Hz or something...

Could this be a driver problem? I am running some version of the 75.90 drivers...I have run dual monitors before and this has never happened...

It doesn't make a difference if the second monitor is the primary display or the secondary display either...I haven't tried new drivers (maybe I'll try the new legit ones) but has anyone else had a similar problem? Thanks...

Did you try swaping what DVI port the monitors are connected to? If you swap them, and the same monitor is screwing up, then It's probably a defective monitor. If the other monitor starts messing up, then it's either a bad video card or a driver problem.

Might also be a bad DVI cable. Try swaping those too.

like the GRIFFIN said, switch the monitors around and see if its a vid card problem or a monitor problem- its never happened to me before so my guess is you may have a defective monitor

Well, I haven't tried that yet but I did install the new official drivers from nvidia and all is well thus far...
