LOL... how true. IMO, KK only makes good glazed donuts and, as you said, they are really just a fried ring of sugar.

Dunkin Donuts makes good cakey donuts. Krispy Kreme makes good fried/glazed donuts. Depends on what you want.

KrispyKreme sux! Dunkin Donuts makes REAL donuts, not the air-filled sugar rings that Krappy Kreme sells. Happily, the KK here folded last year. I only wish we had a Dunkin Donuts within driving distance, but we do have a couple of decent donut shops here, and tons of horrible ones too...

KK has better glazed donuts for sure, but I love D&D's coffee and breakfast sandwiches.. plus they have a much wider variety then KK. So all things considered, yes DD wins IMHO of course.

I think it may actually depend on the location. If DD's donuts were fresh, I'd probably prefer them over KK. But KK is just so damn moist and delicious every time.

KK depends on Donuts for it's main revenue while DD depends on Coffee. Most people go to DD for Coffee period. If I wanted to eat fat laden unhealthy crap I would go to KK.

I grew up eating Lamar's donuts, and they're good but just can't compet w/ the KK. But I'd take DD any day if I'm gettin' a sandwhich.

We get free KK when the vendor sales reps come by our lab. I never had DD. I actually like Safeway's big donuts.

I'll take either... but once you throw coffee into the mix DD DESTROYS KK for overall satisfaction.
There is a DD on the 1st floor of our building... its hard to walk by everyday when that 2 dougnuts and 1 medium coffee special is calling my name....

KK is 90% hype.
