Dunkin' Donuts v. Krispy Kreme

KK is good but i think i still like the glazed at dunken doughnuts better. KK seems a little too sweet for my taste.

Krispy Kreme seems to make them fresher (they get a lot more business). I don't know how many times I've heard Dunkin Donuts have them sitting there all day. One time I got one with mold on it, no lie... wtf.

There is NOTHING > KK.
I hate Dohnuts and refused to eat them becasue all you get from the store or DD are hard cold stale crap with, if your lucky, some actual jelly inside. Till one of my customers brought us in some KK. The smell was intoxicating and then to actually eat a fresh, hot, melt in your mouth goodness that is KK I am spoiled for sure. I havent eaten a dd in over 10 years that I can remember.

OH yeah and for thoes who say DD your wacked. If you try one it has to be directly from KK. The ones that are cold from the kids schools fund rasiers or at the gas station do them no justice at all. Right from the store make a huge diff comming right out of the oven. You just cannot eat them any other way and expect to make a legit compairson between them. Cold in the case taste no different then DD or store bought IMO. Has to be right from the oil or I wont eat them.

On the whole, DD.

For most excellent glazed (and other varieties as well) donuts, KK.

I do think that DD does a better job with their other donuts.

Kind of agreed. I voted KK with the caveat that they must have fresh glazed. If they aren't hot those glazed and too damn sugary. But hot, its like you said, to die for.

Burger Me sells Krispy Kreme Burgers (at least here in my neck of WA). It's basically a Krispy Kreme cut in half, toasted a little, with a burger and the trimmins stuffed in between. I have yet to try one, but rumor has it they're the bomb. Now if I could just get them to deep fry one for me.

I've had them fresh from a KK store, right out of the oven. I still like DD better.
