ok im having problems with my DX based games. Everytime i try to play, my computer locks hard and i have to reset the computer. I have gone into DXDIAG and it says problems the last time Direct3d was accessed would u like to bypass direct3d? if i choose yes, everything is ok, but i cant play DX games and i cant enable Direct3d acceleration at all. but if i choose no, the computer locks up. I have tried an range of Detonator drivers ranging from the 22.XX series all the way upto the latest drivers and still having problems. I know in the diplay properties, i have full acceleration on, and i have tried all the different settings. Anyways here are my specs. Leadtek Geforce 4 TI4200 64mb, AMD Tbird 1.33hz at stock, IWILL KK266+, 384mb Crucial pc133 ram, Cmedia 5.1 channel onboard sound, Winxp with SP1, 16x LG dvd rom, 12x 10x 32x plextor burner. im soo frustrated right now. I hope someone can help me.
