e1505 Video Card Swap?

I think this should work, but I would assume some of you might know this more than I do. Basically I want to buy the new e1505 (since it's on sale today) and throw my 6800 go into it since the x1400 sucks. Then possibly throw the x1400 into my 9300 and sell it. Do you guys think that's possible?

Sorry to say but that 6800go won't fit in the e1505. As far as I know, only the 9300, 9400 (with mods), xps gen2/m170, and precision m60(?) are capable of using the 6800 and 7800 series gfx cards.

I remember seeing a webpage were someone modded an Inspiron 6000 to fit in a 7800go. The speed and voltage had to be lowered. So it might be possible. I wouldn't try it though.

I think they modded a 7800gtx go into a 9300. If you could mod a 7800go into an i6000, I'd do it

The 1505 is basically the Core Solo/Duo version of the i6000. Completely same formfactor and layout, so probably not. On a related note, if you're going to try and hax a 6800go into your 1505, can I buy your x1400?

No, I modded the 7800GTX Go to work with the Dell Precision M70.
