Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody has had any Memory Dump problems with a similar setup.
My main components:
Intel Core 2 Duo e6400
Gigabyte 965P-DS3 F6 Bios
Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400 2GB 5-5-5-12 timings
Randomly I'll get Blue Screen of death MemDump errors, especially it seems if I play a lot of music but it doesn't only happen when playing music.
I originally thought it was because I was using a SATAtoIDE adapter for my hard drive, so I hooked my hard drive directly to the IDE port, but I still get the same issues. I had Windows XP originally and had these issues so I thought switching to Vista would alleviate the problems but alas nothing has been solved.
I even switched the memory banks the ram is in but I still get the issue. Before when the hard drive was connected through a SATA adapter I would check in the Vista resource monitor area that if I was doing several different things at once I would get quite a few Memory Hard Faults, and when I switched the hard drive to direct IDE things got better, but I still crash a lot. This is running on stock settings or overclock, its all the same deal. I upped the voltage on my ram from 1.8+ to 1.9 because in the product description it mentioned th ram being used to running at that voltage.
Tonight I'm going to try Prime95 running all night but I was wondering if anybody has had issues? This is seriously driving me nuts and is the first time I've had such serious issues with a new computer I've built.
