As a buyer you don't make the terms on ebay. Stick to Wal Mart.

YOU WON THE FUCKING ITEM! PAY FOR IT!

Let me get this straight...

You won an auction on ebay.
Seller shipped immediately shipped it to you.
You're going to refuse to pay, and refuse to send it back unless the seller sends you a money order to send it back.

Wow.

Maybe you should have shot him an email telling him that your not comfortable
with his lack of communication and wish to cancel the purchase. You saw how many
feedbacks he had before you bid right? If it arrives as described you are totally obliged
to pay, not send it back.

I hope he insured it. The postal service can be rough on packages.

Read the opening post. He sent it before I could pay for it. So, I'll just wait for it's arrival and if it' in work working order he may see some reimbursement.

Some reimbursement? You mean you still might not pay in full, even if the item is in sound condition? Am I reading this correctly?

Oh the pessimism of you ATOT freaks who have no social life away from various forums, get out and get some sun on that pasty skin. I never said that and will pay him if it works properly and arrives in one piece.

No.

Yes, we did read the correctly. You are backpeddling on what you already said.

I don't think I was very clear to begin with. I felt the seller was a deadbeat and wasn't going to ship or reply to any communications and he has yet to respond to my messages.

I don't see why you shouldn't pay if the seller sends you the item as described, whether or not they communicate with you.

I usually send payment as soon as I win the auction unless I have a question about shipping or something. I'd never bid on an item being sold by a first time seller or a seller without 99% positive feedback.

I've done many transactions on ebay without ever contacting the seller at all.

OP, did it ever occur to you that maybe your attempts to contact the seller have been stopped by some spam blocking software?

(Also, for what it's worth, if he's using a business email address, at many businesses, employees never even get to see what's been filtered into the spam folder.)

Wow, 36+ positive transactions? Is that some kind of slick wording for 37 transactions?
