I thought the Direct deposits were independent of you SSN. I thought only the mailed checks hinged on your SSN?

Same here (07). I think a lot of people that were supposed to get theirs by yesterday, did not.

They are spread out depending on what ur last 2 digits of SSN. Mine is supposed to be deposited on May 9th. A co-work told me this.

Yeah and my last two digits are 15, which was supposed to be deposited latest by yesterday, and have not gotten it yet. Most of my friends haven't gotten theirs either.

Yes - unless your are well off, you will get it.

Most people when they pay, do not do so as an electronic debit - therefore, the IRS will send the money as a check according the schedule posted previously by SKORPI0.

So an electronic debit to pay your taxes qualifies you for direct deposit on the stimulus payment?

If so, I'll be getting mine, hopefully by the 9th. If not, well, June 13th is when my check gets mailed.

So you earn too much money to receive it? Boo fvcking hoo, then you don't need the government to help you help the economy, so take your @ss out there to the local retailers and spend some of that bank your making!

I went to Ikea, and they are doing a deal where you spend your check at Ikea, and they give you back 10% of the amount as a gift card. Their conditions are that you must bring in the check with you and use it to pay. Genius!

Mine is 04, and we got ours Friday morning as well. Transferred it to savings where it will stay until summer and then pay our mortgage one month since my wife is a teacher and doesn't get paid in the summer. I guess you could say we spent it already, because we already had that money in savings for the summer mortgage, but when we found out this stimulus thing was coming we used the money in savings and are refilling it with this.

Almost everybody is doing that. From home improvement stores, (Walmart was thinking of it), Kroger, on and on...and on. It's a great idea. I've seen a few that you didn't have to bring the check in, they simply gave you $30 extra for each $300 you bought on gift cards.

Are you talking about your PREBATE (economic stimulus check) or your regular tax refund?

For those that received $600...when you did the payment calculator, did it say you were only getting $300? No matter how I do the calculator, it always says I'm getting $300.
