the $513 is likely it.... people don't seem to realize that it's a calculated amount - $600 MAX
I just need to know if they use my SSN for my refund and my sons SSN for the other refund, or if they use both and send just one lump deposit.
Actually the amount is $513.20..........................20 freaking sense? WTF? This is a wierd number. I hope it has to do with my sons SSN and I will be getting more. Gonna call the IRS when I have a couple of hours to spare being on hold.

That TurboTax deal is stupid...I was expecting our money to be deposited this morning, now we won't get it til June 13th? WTF.
For the TurboTax thing read some of the replies here. It seems to have something to do with Santa Barbara Bank and Trust and having the refund payments go through them. If your refund went through that bank then your stimulus payment will come by check because the routing #account # were changed to Santa Barbara #s for the original refund.
There's info on the TurboTax site about it here.
Hope this helps.

The way I read it, your son doesn't get any money. You (the taxpayer) get money for you if you qualify and additional money for each qualifying child. I'm assuming (dangerous, I know) that your son is claimed as a dependent on your income tax return in which case you would get one refund covering your personal amount plus the amount you get added for qualifying children.

I know a few people who don't get it, and they are all upset. They make to much money. My brother for example had an AGI of $90,000+ last year and is very upset he doesn't get it.
Why shouldn't he be upset that people are being handed money he worked for? Robin Hood is only good as a bedtime story

Yup, most people are fans of redistribution of wealth only when it benefits them.

Yup. And that's exactly what this is wealth redistribution. And it's wrong on so many levels it really is sickening.

So, Turbotax & the IRS website both told me that I would be receiving a stimulus check yet when I dump my info into the "when is my $$$ coming" calculator, there's no record yet.
My SSN ends in 13...do I have to wait until the "no later than" mailing date to check on that?

He's got to be taking home at least $6k per month... I can see how not getting that $300 would make him pretty sore.

No my son doesnt get any $$$, I do, I really meant dependent, not son (although he is my son ) I did claim him and filed head of household. So do you think the HOH file status is different than the usual file status? IE single, married et....al? If so then that sucks. I'm just really confused with the weird amount. Even if me and my son are lumped in one refund it should be $600 even. My AGI was not above 75k. I will do the online calculation tonight when I have my paperwork in front of me.
