Economic Stimulus Check/Deposit

Bush said that they would be direct depositing the amounts to those that qualify starting today. Have you received yours yet? My last two of my SSN# is 01... I haven't received anything yet.



The Federal government is not processing the Stimulus checks as fast as the original schedule.

Also, anyone that had a filing fee deducted from the refund will get a paper check.

One can go to the IRS website to get info on the status of the stimulus IF it is within a week of being sent out or to see if you qualify

I blanked the non-required portion of your SSN for your protection, I hope it was a joke number that you posted.

It is based on the last two digits. The original schedule has you receiving yours by May 16th if you had your tax refund sent via direct deposit, and by July 4th if you are getting a paper cheque. Those dates are based on the original timetable though, the IRS has started sending them already. -AnandTech Moderator ShotgunSteven

Since I didnt get back anything this year (electronically deposited last year) I am assuming that I will get a check. Not really a big deal since we are using the money for our first house this fall. Nothing like $1200 to help out when we need it most.
