I'm trying to learn about electronics and I was wondering if there was any good books that take you from a beginning level to somewhere where you have a good starting point for advanced stuff and you can do some really cool things. (I know there are, but what are they in your opinion!)
Here is my experience:
Do some occasional soldering and know what some basic electronic parts are (resistors, capacitors, Diodes, etc) Only the most basic stuff
I know several programming languages including C++
I'm good with troubleshooting computer software and hardware
Although I doubt these topics will be covered in the same books here is things I'd be interested in being able to do/know more about:
making circuits that do things - I know nothing in the scheme of things
programming micro controllers
making devices/programming device drivers for computers
For right now excellent electronics books is what I'm interested in -- keep in mind that I can't afford to get a lot of books so it would be good to keep it on the low low Don't leave out a good book bc of price though.
Thanks for all the help!
