Anybody see the crybaby wants to move Tesla incorporation to Texas because of the a Delaware judgement?

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has had enough of Delaware after a state court ruling voided his $55.8 billion pay package. Musk said last night that Tesla will hold a shareholder vote on transferring the electric carmaker's state of incorporation to Texas.

Musk had posted a poll on X (formerly Twitter) asking whether Tesla should "change its state of incorporation to Texas, home of its physical headquarters." After over 87 percent of people voted yes, Musk wrote, "The public vote is unequivocally in favor of Texas! Tesla will move immediately to hold a shareholder vote to transfer state of incorporation to Texas."

Such a raging Karen.

The fire has now actively spread to Tesla, Twitter not even in the ground yet.

I bet SpaceX management is kinda nervous at this point.
I wouldn't worry about SpaceX, so Elon has almost no chance of going broke even if TSLA managed to go to zero.

NASA will need SpaceX for a very long time, and often. And day to day operations are run by a capable executive, not by Musk.

Moving Tesla's incorporation to Texas would require shareholder approval, which may not be an easy rubber stamp anymore.

I wouldn’t vote for it as a TSLA shareholder since his whole reason for doing it is to restrict shareholder rights. Fuck that guy.

Why wouldnt you worry about SpaceX? He is actively taking his crazy to Tesla now. SpaceX has been doing so good, you wouldnt be worried if he were to take over the reigns at HQ in his ketamine enhanced state?
I'd say SpaceX is more in the crosshairs than Tesla, SpaceX is private, he dont need no shareholder approval to crash and burn that shit just like Twitter.

Is there a lawsuit in there for Swift?

Maybe against the person who made it.
Yup, thanks to Section 230, X could spam everyone with fake Swift porn 24/7, have every search suggestion be Swift sucking a dick, and they'd have zero liability. As long as some user posted it. Of course, any attempt to change this in any way at all would end the internet as we know it.

For that matter, even if it was illegal real porn they could do all of those things with no consequences. As long as its posted by a user, they can promote it and deliver it however they want.

Correct, this should not be changed.

Yup, gotta make sure the billionaires face no liability for their purposeful decisions and actions. Because it'd be impossible to write a law that would make someone liable for initially pushing damaging user generated content while still protecting the ability to moderate.

This is why websites face no liability for allowing the posting of and pushing the same child porn and revenge porn videos over and over and over again. Not like they could hash the videos and block the upload, but hey they make money and face no liability, so why would they block it.

Websites most certainly do face liability for allowing the posting of child porn but regardless section 230 is one of the best laws passed in my lifetime. I’m a huge fan and will always defend it.

Well… If it complies with EU regulations and a right to be forgotten claim was issued they would either have to take down all pictures of me or prove that its not me on those porns…

Right?

It's totally on brand for Elmo Musk to fund racist Gina Carano's lawsuit against Disney, in which she was fired for being a racist asshat.

I actually saw news of this before, and that Carano refused to attend meetings (yes meetings plural) between her Disney bosses and Disney LGBTQ+ employees, to work things out. After which she was fired. So this case will go absolutely nowhere.

Yep, it's him throwing away more $$$ in some ridiculous way. She's going to take another L on this one, as will he by extension.

She'll be lucky to find work in whatever straight to youtube film that Kirk Cameron is working on.

Kiddie porn was an except to Section 230, yes, and look Anandtech is still here. Yet, PornHub, et al, have been busted with having kiddie porn posted, and allowing the same videos to be posted over and over again. They didn't change until Visa/Mastercard made them.

It's nuts that you think a complete liability shield for the actions purposefully taken by the richest companies and people on planet is one of the best laws passed in the last 40 years.

Isn't it weird how people claiming political cultural wars are against them are the ones constantly waging such on others?

Then again, this seems like it might be pertinent for him, as I know there's several lawsuits against Tesla for racist behavior (including people being fired after complaining about such).

I think there were SpaceX ones as well.

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, that Apartheid Clyde would be involved in anything like discriminatory practices at his companies. I mean, where in the world would he get such ideas from??? /s
