What is the $15? Why 11/27? Where? This one is a little too minimalist informationwise for me. Someone please spell it out for me.

edit: Now I understand. Thanks!

Haha, yeah, I need it spelled out to! Where is the $15? It says $65. Regardless, Staples has always come thru on there rebates, and in timely fashion.

There are two rebates in the first link of the .pdf file, scroll down and you'll see the $15 rebate.
The $15 rebate only applies to the 17" monitor

The $65+$15 is to document that there are *2* rebates on the pdf page. One is for $65, the other is for $15. Seems this is a manuf. rebate, meaning it is likely this could be used in combination with the Staples rebate. Since this is for the 17" monitor that Staples had on sale last Friday (and I got!) I'll be sending it in!

Total (if this comes through) will be:
$160 - $30 coupon $100 Staples MIR - $65 Envision MIR - $15 Envision MIR = -$50!

Great find!

Both the Staples rebate and the $65 manufacturers (Envision) rebate want the original UPC. Does the box that this particular monitor (17" EN710) came in have two UPC codes (as some do)?

Anyone who bought it in the store and has the box, can you let us know?

i notice there are 2 UPC on my Envision en-710e,
and the $100 rebate i got from staples on 11/23 said: "Send the original or a copy of the UPC bar code from your product box."
Does it mean that i can send 3 rebates!

However, one question, i get a EN-710 17" LCD Monitor rebate form from staples on 11/23. Did they make a mistake?

BTW, i will wait a bit (till i get the staples $100 rebate) until i send in this $65 rebate... it can wait till 1/15/02

Hey geekender, I was wondering where you got these rebate forms. I looked at the Envision website from the rebate form and found out that there aren't any downloadable forms and they only want the ones from participating retail locations. Don't know if this will be a problem or not, but I guess its worth a shot.

rebate forms are from outpost.com, (i saw them and just about to post)
Because outpost.com is not on the list of envision's site. so it may work for staples also.

So does it mean we can also claim the $70 rebate from Staples plus the $65 and $15 from Envision? The $70 rebate from Staples is good for purchase between 11/23 and 12/01. Another Staples $100 rebate is also good for purchase on 11/23. If we can claim all the rebates, the final price of the monitor will be:

$160 - $30 coupon - $100 Staples rebate - $70 Staples rebate - $ $65 Envision MIR - $15 Envision MIR = ($120)

Isn't that too good to be true? By the way, I found out on the Envision rebate form it says the rebates are for EN-710E, while the Staples sells the EN-710. Are they the same model? I am very confused...

I think Outpost.com is just trying to get people to buy the monitor....Envision site says non-partticipating store receipts WILL NOT be honored....

Taz...yes, that iIS asking too much...you cannot claim 2 Staples rebates for one product.

i got the 710e at staples on 11/23, not sure if they are selling different ones now. as long as the SKU is the same it should be ok.

This is not necessarily true. As long as both rebates have different rebate centers/department, you can! I bought a Linksys NIC and switch before from Staples. Meanwhile Staples offer a rebate for this combo deal, and an individual rebate for the NIC. I sent both rebates and they honor both.

Thank you for this thread!!

I bought the EN-710e on black friday, sent the $100 rebate in yesterday and just sent in 2 more rebates for it today, the box has many UPC labels and i'm glad the 2 envision rebates asked for just copies of the receipts....w0ot $180 rebates for $137 spent (with tax and $30 off coupon)

Thanks!

Before anyone attempting to send in that $65 rebate (in addition to Staples' $100
rebate). Ask yourself this: "Is $65 worth going to jail for?"
If you think it's worth it... go right ahead.

(excerpt from the rebate form)

"Fraudulent submission of multiple requests could result in federal prosecution
under the U.S. Mail Fraud Statutes (18 USC, Section 1341 and 1342)."

give me a break, that line is talking about sending in the same rebate multiple times like if you tried to submit the staples $100 rebate 3 times with the upcs. There is nothing wrong with using a store specific and manufacturers rebate

Also, has anyone noticed that the rebates don't seem to have 1/household/person/family anymore?

Smitty is correct. I think you might want to rethink your handle. Envision themselves are giving out 2 rebate for the same item. I myself am going to send in the $65 + $15, but am unsure about the second Staple rebate as that do seem shady!

If you order online with the 30 out of 150 dollars coupon, will they honor the 70 dollars coupon?. I never ordered from staples online so I am afraid of using the 30 out of 150 if later I won't be able to get the money from the $70 one.
i wonder about this because when you see the screen for the rebate process (at staples website) it says you can not use it with other rebates. If they were mailed to different locations I would not worry much, but since both are processed at the same website, I assume they can find out you have use both discounts on the item. If that's not allowed of course.

<< Q: Can Envision Rebates Be Downloaded From the Web? >>

<< A: No, Envision rebates are not available in downloadable format via the Web. Only physical Mail-In Rebate Coupons at participating Retail locations. >>

Comes from the Envision website

Looks like your not able to print out rebate coupons.
That sucks

roqueweb, I think it should be OK coz both Staples rebates have different rebate departement. Anyway, it is still worth a shot. Just treat the $70 Staples rebate as an extra bonus. Even you are not able to get the $70, this deal is still sweet.

$160 - $30 - $100 - $65 - $15 = ($50)

You still make $50 on this deal without the $70 Staples rebate.
