epox rma

i have never had good luck with epox's warrenty service
this week i have been trying to rma a epox motherboard
after a few days of their song and dance they give me a rma #
the instructions said to include a $14 money order
having rma'ed many items i have never been asked to pay shipping
both ways
epox sucks!

they prefer customers to return to the sellers,
that's why you need to pay return shipping if you want to return to them directly.
most motherboard manufacturers don't like to do direct end-users rma.

i try to stick with asus
their rma service is excellent 2 five minute phone calls
four minutes of each is hold time but i get a rma # and no problems

Epox argued with me over 3 days about an RMA... they made it a major pain in the butt just to do it. The Epox board I have in my system will be my last.

I am surprised they even gave you an RMA number, as they state they only do returns through dealers. I had to RMA an Epox that I sold on eBay, and Newegg gave me no problems. Try going through the retailer that sold you the board next time, guys.

Sometimes that's not a possibility, but, as was stated before, they have terrible terrible RMA service... Hell, my RMA took three days just to get a number and then another week to arrive.

I think Abit is $25 for RMA's if I remember right.
