LOCATING GREAT PRICES ON
EPSON AND CANON AFTERMARKET INKJET CARTRIDGES
This procedure has worked well for me, and I have never experienced a single problem. I do print alot, and yet I prefer a color inkjet over a laser because it allows me the flexibility of printing whichever I need at the time. I do take a second when printing and select BLACK over "color" for most jobs, as all I need is a quick copy. I hope what I
share here will work well for others here. I use an Epson 900, but please know that there are only 2 or 3 after market actual cartridge manufacturers. Most all sellers purchase from a few mftrs. And in general, what other have shared here is true. The inks work VERY well,
and there are times where an after market cartridge may actually prove to be less troublesome than an actual Epson (or Canon) product. I have a friend who prints out alot of really nice photos she has taken, and for those, she prefers the ink colors of CANON cartridges in her Canon. In my Epson, I have not experienced a significant color difference.
What did I pay a month or so ago for cartridges ? Well, please keep in mind that the cartridges for Epson 900's and 980's are ALOT larger in capacity than for other models - Even by other manufacturers. And even
so, the prices can be STAGGERINGLY LOW ! I paid $2.99 for BLACK ones and
$4.99 for COLOR ones. And since we ordered 12 at a time, there was no shipping charge. What I did on this order was get a friend of mine, who also has an Epson, an Model 770, to also order some at the same time.
When they are THIS cheap, ya gotta go with the flow. Haha !
Most Resellers do NOT mind mixing and matching. So that is not a problem.
But ? HOW did I locate this seller ?
It was VERY simple. I went to EB*y, and did a search for Epson 900.
I looked at the prices shown in the search list until I located a few sellers with low prices. I then clicked on his/her EB*y rating until I found some with EXCELLENT feedback ratings and only a few negatives.
IF you keep looking, many of the seller will have web pages. The prices on the web pages MAY be higher than what is shown on FleaB*y. And many have an 800 number you can call to order. And use a credit card.
I do have a few rules I always follow:
For ink cartridges, I will only order FROM the Reseller, using his EB*y price, using an 800 number to his "store."
And, I will only order using a credit card for payment.
Here is an example of a FleaB*y Reseller who fits this description: And I have NO connection with him whatsoever and have not purchased from him( I cannot find my last Reseller's web site - sorry).

Great rating .... 800 Number to order ... Free shipping if you order 12 ... and he accepts credit cards for payments.
Better yet .... Here is a Reseller who has an almost PERFECT Rating, The 880 BLACK cartridges are $3.65, and his color ones are $5.95. In this case you have to pay shipping.

Look around on Eb*y. Again, there are only about 2 or three mftrs of these. So the only difference is the a) Price and b) Terms.
This suggestion works for alot of others items as well. EB*y can
become a wonderful "research" tool if used properly.
Hope this helps many people. And good luck to all.
By the way, If you find an ink reseller you like, and you do not see
a current auction listing for the particular cartridge you are seeking, CALL HIM ! More than likely he has it !
