When police will be so brazen mear days after the death of a man at the hands of the police. While they know they're on camera? That's scary shit, if cops aren't afraid to do shit like this while they know they're being recorded, imagine when they're in the middle of no-where with nobody around to record, oh and their body cameras are "on the fritz"
Here's a great true story involving cops in my town. I worked at a liquor store where the police beat up a guy in the parking lot and broke his arm, then manhandled him shoving him into the patrol car with his arm broken. He was an ex felon, but he hadn't done anything and wasn't resisting here at all. This was before body cameras, and that day their car's dash camera conveniently wasn't working so it wasn't recorded. Well, except the store had a camera facing out the door which recorded the bulk of the altercation. No sound but watching it was clear what happened. As soon as it happened my boss had me go into the office and export the video to a CD and then I went home. Later that day I went back to try to make another copy because whatever format it exported I couldn't open with anything I tried. When I got there he told me more cops showed up 15 minutes after I left and 2 officers went into his office and got on the computer to review the video. About an hour of footage was mysteriously missing when I tried to pull it up again, It was an old cheapy PC/DVR setup so it probably wasn't hard for them to do whatever they did. They apparently didn't know I had make a back up, It took me a few weeks but I finally got something that would open the video and converted it and gave a copy to the guy they beat up . The city ended up giving him a bunch of cash. It's crazy how deep corruption can run with police.
Now a days they're recorded and still give zero fucks about being crooked.
