So I was accepted into Eve Uni and I've been reading a lot of their wiki and listening to / attending some of their classes as possible while continuing to finish the Sisters of Eve missions. My interests right now lie in getting into e-war and scouting, but I think I'm going to have to keep grinding away at PvE missions for money to finance the PvP stuff.
Eve is confusing as hell sometimes!
Can someone explain to me how the new Console planetary game will affect the PC side of things. I read that would be handshake between the surface players and ships in regards to economy and combat. Are all planets viable destinations for console players? Will CCP be able to pull enough surface players to make it work?
I just can't see this having a large impact on day to day eve. Maybe I'm missing something?
We have no idea. They have no given any details really other then, they want Dust to have an impact on Eve and vice versa.

Haven't played in probably a year, but do the main mission hubs still have the Alpha strike gankers? I remember these guys making billions of isk a day from the modules that carebears were rolling with to their missions.
Yes and no. They just did some major overhauls of missioning, removing all but the three kinds of mission agents (i.e. we are left with combat, courier, and research), so no longer will a combat pilot get a mission to mine 100,000 m3 of something.... They also made all agents Q20, and changed a bunch of other things. As a result, there are now a lot more places people will mission from, spreading the mission runners out a lot more, and thus making it that much more of a pain to simply sit off one of the mission hubs scanning ships for high priced modules and ganking them since the missioners can now be spread out across a lot more systems.
Well, this games come up a few time and I seem to have lots of time on my hands lately so I am downloading the trial client ATM. I hear it's best to join in with a group of people, does AT have one of these 'groups'?
I have an account that is 4 years old, but not played since trial. Any advantage to either buying a new account or just activating the old one?
Was he still earning points even though I never logged in? That was what I really had no idea about.

I think I picked the longest one I could when I was last on, but it should be done by now
It stops training a day or so after your account expires however.
