How did you know all this? I was asleep through the whole thing.

I was wide awake. I had no more anaesthetic for these procedures than I'd have gotten for a filling. Honest to god all I got was lidocaine shots in my gums before they tortured me.

I've gotten wisdom teeth pulled. That's the only surgery ever. Oh and teeth pulled once..
