They are pretty clear about it...

These warranties apply only to video cards sold as parts. Video cards purchased in systems are covered by the same warranty as the system.

Part# 800323 - 6 Month Advanced Replacement Monarch Computer Video Card Warranty -

If the video card fails during the first 15 days from the invoice date Monarch Computer will issue an advanced replacement on the video card. If the product fails after the initial 15-day period Monarch Computer will replace the defective product with a new product according to the standard RMA procedure. Please note that under the manufacturer?s warranty it is likely that a refurbished or recertified video card will be issued as a replacement. Additionally, if you are unsatisfied with the video card upon purchase you may with this option return the video card for a store credit that may be used for a different product from Monarch Computer. Please note that advanced replacements require a refundable deposit prior to shipment. See terms and conditions for important information regarding all warranties, technical support and onsite repair service.
(Please note that after purchase of a warranty through Monarch Computer you will still retain rights in any applicable manufacturer warranty.)

Part# 800107 - Manufacturer Warranty Only -
Under this warranty option the manufacturer is solely responsible for fulfillment of warranty obligations. The customer must contact the manufacturer of the product directly regarding what, if any, warranty and/or replacement is available. The manufacturer is likely to replace products with a refurbished or recertified unit rather than a new unit. Items purchased from Monarch under this part number are not eligible for return to Monarch for replacement, store credit or refund. If this is not satisfactory than please see Monarch warranty number 800323.

The 6 month warrantee is $50...

I'm actually more in agreement with Arkane13131, I think it's HIS' responsibility to replace the card. I bought the card with the understanding that Monarch wouldn't do the warrantee service, but also with the knowledge that the card carries a 1 year manufacturer warrantee. I don't fault Monarch in this, but HIS...

Thanks for link... I submitted a "tech support" request, I'll see what happens.

Actually, I have a bit more of a story to tell (and some of it is actually on topic)...

So, I popped in the two 7900GT Superclocks when I got them home yesterday, and the first thing I noticed was wow, these little guys are loud - I was not expecting that at all. They quietened down a bit after the drivers were installed, so I didn't really sweat that... I also still have two NV5 Silencers from a previous SLI set, so I could install those if I need to. Noise will be the least of my worries though... Read on...

I did the whole driver cleaner dance and Forceware install, and then I decided to play a bit of Oblivion... First thing I had to do was re-adjust a few settings, which wasn't much of a surprise... What did surprise me though was that once I got through adjusting everything to make it playable as well as with the single X1900XTX, I had the exact same settings as I did with the X1900XTX (2xAA/8xAF), but WITHOUT HDR. I was pretty disappointed, as I figured that since I would have to give up HDR I would at least get a bump in AA over the X1900XTX. Anyway, I figured I'd play a bit to run these cards through their paces. Apparently the 7900GT's disagreed with me though, becasue I only got about 30 minutes of play time in before the game did a hard lock on me. Force reboot, get back in to Oblivion, 10-20mins later: hard lock... rinse repeat a few more times... I have heard people say that Oblivion was a fairly unstable game (save often), and I never really knew what they were talking about because I never had a lock or crash with the X1900XTX. I didn't really know what to make of it.

I decided to put down Oblivion for a bit, since apparently the GT's didn't want me to play Oblivion. So, I popped open WoW (I really am becoming quite the nerd... two games, and neither of them an FPS)... That wasn't a very successful endevour either. I log in, I'm in Orgrimmar, and all the characters, including mine, are "twitching" really quickly like they are having a seizure. I popped out of WoW, and checked the control panel, messed with a few settings, and logged back in... Seemed to be fine. Played a bit, logged out and back in later... It's back. Twitchy characters everywhere. I messed with a bunch of different settings, it the came and went intermittently - no rhyme or reason behind it...

I pretty much wound up saying "fsck these cards" after a few hours. I have a run three different SLI setups in this rig (7800GTX, GTX KO, and 7900GTX), and none of them have caused me as much irritation combined as these two Superclocks have caused me in the span of a few hours. I took the cards back to Monarch first thing today... They game be store credit, which I used to pick up BBA X1900XTX and a 6 month warranty. I still have some money left on my Monarch "tab". They also gave me some stateside HIS contact info, and the guys I talked to seemed to be unaware of HIS' lack of a US contact number. I am going out of town for the next week, and I'm going to deal with that when I get back.

All the RMA issues aside, I was pretty damn disappointed in the Superclocks... I have owned quite a few eVGA cards in the past: 6800GT, 7800GTX, GTX KO, 7900GTX, and the 7900GT CO SC; and none of them have ever given me the issues that I had with the Superclocks. This is not what I expect from NVIDIA and eVGA at all. Their cards are usually excellent. Furthermore, for the cost of these two cards, the performance wasn't really even very impressive in comparison to a single X1900XTX. Of course, I just got the replacement XTX so I'm not going to say much about that at this point. Hpefully it won't give me any problems.
