I have multiple worksheets with different information in them regarding a common contact id. How do I combine them into one worksheet so that all of the data is in one place.

Each worksheet has a contact_id field with the contact number in it.The first worksheet has contact id, first name, last name, title, company. The second worksheet has contact id, address, city, state, zip, and country. The first worksheet has all the contacts in it but the second worksheet does not. Therefore, I need to add the address information when it's available for a contact, but skip it if there is nothing there.

I hope that makes sense. Let me know if you need anything clarified.

Use the vlookup function.
This will work when the data you are looking for is to the RIGHT of the data you are searching for. Otherwise you use an INDEX(MATCH()) function.
SO using a primitive example I set up for your case.
Sheet 1 has the contact ID, name, address in columns A-C
Sheet 2 has the contact ID, the string "I am here now", and 32 in columns A-C

In column D of the first sheet I put vlookup(A1,Sheet2!A:F,2)
This would put "I am here now" in column D of the first sheet.
If nothing in the search array, it will produce an #N/A error

Sorry for the long-winded explanation if you already knew vlookups

Please consider doing this. Much easier to manage in a database system than excel.

Have you ever recorded a macro or used any kind of VBA functions before?
