Good to see a very well designed EV going after the hearts of car enthusiasts. Not going to give up my 21 year old E39 M5 for one just yet (apparently their target handling benchmark) but I sure hope these guys make it.

Hagerty's channel along with Savage Geese, Throttle House, Demuro and Hoovies are why I could give 2 shits about Top Gear or Clarkson. Toss in some Tedward or Topher to round them out

Just named most of my favorites and none who I can’t stand like Matt Farah. Tedward is local to me, probably end up meeting him one day considering how many car nerd friends we apparently share. He’s probably my age+/- a year and also has three cool vehicles for no reason lol.

Love all those guys, but I love Top Gear too...I think of them as a buddy show with excellent dingbat buddy trips and some cars thrown in. It's not a car show. ...but they definitely know their stuff, they just don't care so much about the nerdiness, and also have their very peculiar opinions of things.

Hoovie is entertaining but he's not a real car reviewer. For my money Harry Metcalfe is the best auto journalist making videos of any sort. Jonny Smith is good too. These days Clarkson is a great entertainer who happens to know cars. Non-car people will watch him and like it.

Anyway, another great video from Jason. Zero complaints here.

It's not a car show....but they definitely know their stuff, they just don't care so much about the nerdiness, and also have their very peculiar opinions of things.

I soured on Top Gear when they stopped reviewing normal cars and switched to the "Feature exotic car then do a skit then feature celerity guest" format.
It's probably more to do with me losing all interest in the high end exotic car segment.

I like them best when they buy old, terrible, but otherwise excellent cars and drive around with them (like the $2k Porsches, Alfa Romeos, etc). Taking the exotics around is never very interesting.

The regular car reviews, on Grand Tour at least, all became very expensive and absurd productions.
