Long story short, attempted to create Recovery disk from a new Win 8 laptop on my external hard drive in an unallocated space. Not only did it somehow fail, now my TB drive is completely unallocated. I'm guessing Windows 8 file system screwed it up.
I'm using Minitool Partition Recovery and it's only able to see my backup of my Win 7 system and the beginnings of the Win 8 recovery disk creation (50+mb of 20GB used) but not the other partition with all my data.
Any suggestions on another software to use?
