External Sound Cards?

Hey all,

I really REALLY need an external sound card to run my Logitech z5500's, as i am now on a laptop and need 5.1 sound (thats decent quality). Used to have an X-fi Music in my desktop and was superb.

Looks like the only option is the Audigey2 NX?

Anyone have any experience with this? Im not sure what other brands of external sound cards there are, and if they actually surpass the audio quality of the creatives?

I have used the Audigy 2 NX now for over a year with my laptop, and it is excellent. The small, compact size makes it easy to travel with.

BTW - there's no such thing as an "external sound card." Cards are internal, modules are external.

Thanks for the info guys, looks like the Audigy NX has the edge atm...
