Posted this elsehwere but got little response...hopefully someone here has a better idea.
Ok, I've noticed that every day I come back from work, I'm signed out of AIM because I hit the rate limit of signing on/off and I'd be disconnected from MIRC. I thought this was weird. Last night my router was dropping the connection entirely and did it twice. I also noticed that I was regularly being dropped from PSN constantly.
Today I decide to run a little test. I signed on to AIM at work today so that I'd get messages about being signed on in 2 places at once. This is when things got really, really weird.

These messages were notifying me of my AIM at home reconnecting. Notice any strange pattern?
Other than between 1 and 2 (which was the first notification when I logged on from work), the timestamps are all ~22/23 minutes apart.
This disconnect is happening at regular intervals. Almost mathematically EXACT regular intervals.
I've never seen anything like this. It's truly bizarre. Do I just have a bum router? It's worth noting that this network has 5 PCs on it at once, sometimes 7 concurrent connections with PS3/laptops. I have the Cox 10mb/2mb plan, so it shouldn't be a bandwidth issue. I have my torrent software throttled down reasonably. I guess I have no idea what my roommates are running but none of them are technically savvy in the least....but I suppose that means it's entirely possible that they're running Limewire or something and just crushing our allowed connections limit from Cox.
But every 22-23 minutes on the dot? That just really throws me. I can't figure it out.
Also worth mentioning is that I have only really noticed these issues since moving the cable modem to another room, on a new coax drop that Cox recently installed.
