I have a preety standard home networking setup: 3 pc (2x WinXP, 1x Win2k), 1 notebook (WinXP) interconected like this
3 x pc ---via ethernet100---->Dlink 614+ router
1 x notebook ---via WiFi------>Dlink 614+ router
Currrently all computers (including notebook) have working TCPIP (ie, they can ping each other and have access to the web). All of them have enabled NetBios over TCPIP. The all pcs connected can browse each other's files (the usernames and passwords are the same on all four computers).
UNTIL! :Q
The laptop somehow lost the rights to browse the local workgroup. When trying to connect, the laptop simply shows a "no access to the workgroup" alert. Other three computers siting on the network acctually see it (ie. when you open workgroup "HOME" you see the laptop icon) but cannot conect to any of its shares.
All four computers have the same settings, i have no idea what could have gone wrong. Dammit, this windows networking is getting more funky every day. Shure hope, that in longhorn they will do something with this wierd network problems.
