I'll be sure and bow to your superior non-smoking race whenever I encounter you. After all this is America, who am I to smoke outside a door! I simply can't believe how awful I am because I smoke tobacco.

Reality Check.

This is America. I can and will smoke if I choose to, especially if it's OUT F@$KING SIDE. If you don't like peole who smoke tobacco, perhaps you should seal yourself in a little clean room and wash your hands 30 times a day. But hey, it's the whiners who are listened to, so perhaps I should start bitching about having to breath your car exhaust. It's an outrage! All that carbon monoxide, WHO THE F(*@#(*@& DO THOSE *@(&(*&@ THINK THEY ARE USING INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES! I'LL SEE THEM ALL HANG!

Anyways, to get to the moral of the story, STFU son. You're certainly allowed to bitch about it (america!) and I'm certainly allowed to tell you to go to hell. I don't and won't blow smoke in your face, in fact I go out of my way to NOT offend people who are bothered by tobacco smoke. But whenever I see things along the lines of "by these damned people who could care less whom else they are making stink and breathe their nasty ass fumes" I'm gonna have to stand up and say, "You sir, are a whiney bitch. Welcome to the imperfect world."

Naw, you're just to dry of a read for me.

Actually, I group you in with the holier than thou nonsmoker. It may be inconsiderate, but I am quite amused by most of your types that complain and whine that they have to walk through a cloud of smoke. You nonsmokers created this problem when you tried to solve the problem of people smoking in a cubical next to you. You WON'T be able to ban some things. Instead you concentrated smoking to another part of your world. Ask me not to smoke in front of you in a bar where smoking is permitted in the entire establishment and I'll laugh and then ignore you. Ask me to put out my cigarette in a restaurant where I'm seated in the smoking section. Same thing, I'll laugh. Come to my house and ask me to please stop smoking and I'll show you the door. Come out to the back door smoking area at my work and ask me to stop smoking and I'll tell you that it's not my problem. And at my job where I spend a good amount of time in the field (outside) and I'm instructing or explaining a tak or a mission, I have a cigarette dangling out of my mouth, ask me to put it out and I'll tell you, "STFU, your in my world now." Ask me to put out my cigarette in a smoking permitted area/event/etc because my children are present and you'll be introduced to my left fist.

Ask me to please move away from the enterance of a building where it says no smoking and I'll apologize for not seeing the sign and I'll move to the designated smoking area or away from the designated nonsmoking area.

Your rights end where mine begin!

GOOD. You admit that kind of behavior is inconsiderate. And the rest of babbling you did in your post, it's useless... I would never do any of it and you should know that by now. You don't have to keep repeating rights and law... must I say that again? How about big bold blocks of letters?

By the way, we both share the same rights. Now what did you mean again?

Well, I'm off to pick up Yzzim for the Twins game. Just to let the whiners know........Yzzim is a nonsmoker. I do not smoke in my car when there are nonsmoking guests riding in it that ask me not to smoke. If they complain about the residual smoke odor they can eith put up with it or walk. They have a choice.

Well, obviously not in a smoking area. I wouldn't expect to walk in there and start telling people to butt out. I mean a non-designated area - not "smoking", not "no smoking". To flip the phrase - your rights end where my children's / brother's begin.

And btw - trying to introduce your fist to a taekwondo artist is asking for a heap of trouble. Careful who you swing at.

Why should I have to be considerate to you when you are violating my rights? You're being inconsiderate to me when you ask me to put my cigarette out in an area where I'm within my rights to smoke.

Well, no, he's right. A Taekwondo artist is primarily a leg fighter. The leg can be just as fast, but is considerably longer and considerably stronger than an arm. It's not smart unless you've specifically been trained to work against a leg fighter... or have a death wish.

Exactly. You don't have a right to tell him where to smoke, either, if he's outside. If they're there first, move on. If they're huddling at the door, go out another door or GROW UP and hold your breath while you walk past.

You seem to spend an awful lot of time online, Red. How do you explain that to your imaginary girlfriend?

Inconsideration is part of human nature and an eye for an eye philosophy. I wasn't right a couple days ago to throw out my cup of coffee onto a war protester when she came up to my car screaming "Baby Killer". But, she wasn't too considerate for coming up to my car screaming that when all I was doing was driving home.

Edit: but it did make me feel better.

That's Lutefisk, Red! By the time the World Series is won, you'll know that. In the meantime, I'll try to tutor you.

I've told you before, just because it's called "hanging brains" when they dangle out of your boxers doesn't mean those are actually your brains. Just because your forehead spends most of its time getting acquainted with them doesn't mean it applies to everyone.
