Failed Suggested Movies

Brotherhood of the Wolf. A lot of my friends told me how great it was. I watched like 20 minutes of it before turning off the suckage that is that movie.

The Patriot and Universal Soldier 2 are the first ones that come to mind.

I wouldn't say I HATED the royal tenenbaums but I thought it was just ok and very overrated.

Friends raved about Fargo and Back to the Future. I HATED Fargo and thought BTTF was really lame. I also wasn't as thrilled with the Big Lebowski as I thought I would be. It was ok. I usually like that sort of movie.

I like to tease ATOTer Triumph about his recommendation of Session 9. What a horrid movie. Also, everybody seems to adore Kill Bill which I found nauseatingly awful.

I walked out of the theater as did my wife who thought it was just as bad.

I love ATOT. If you don't find a movie funny you are not intelligent. just gotta love it.

LOL. I love Harry Potter and have all three on DVD. Definitely different strokes for different folks.

Umm, I don't think you were exactly in the target audience... Lots of kids' movies are not fun for adults.

Those are the only 4 I can think of that people said were good movies and I watched them and thought they were absolutely hideous.

EDIT: after reading through I have to add some more ...

Boondock Saints
Royal Tenenbaums
Few others mentioned that I agree with and dont remember right now.

Harry Potter was exactly what it was advertised to be. I'm not surprised you didn't like it, but I am surprised you *thought* you'd like it enough to buy tickets for it.

everyone and their mother tells me that it was the greatest sci fi movie ever... I thought it was boring as hell.

Well, it *is* a 23-year-old sci-fi movie. It was definitely good in it's day..

i never liked blade runner either...and the royal tenanbaums put me to sleep.

i absolutely LOVED Fargo though...
