8.The 5th Element (i'll probably get flamed for this)
9.Highlander
10.Waiting for Guffman (i loved best in show though)
11. The Butterfly Effect

wow we have diffrnet movie tastes. I think Boondock Saints and Dogma are great movies. Boondock saints is just a great movie while dogma is freakin hilarious. The 5th Element was an awesome movie..good action..good story..and for the time good special effects. The rest..i kinda agree.

The Big Lebowski. I just didn't get it all. That and Napoleon Dynamite.

These friends are the same ones who recommended #1 on your list, Boondock Saints, which I thoroughly enjoy.

me too, i tried so hard to like napolean (since my bro knows the directors). it's got some good lines and i guess i "get it" but it's not something i could watch over and over.

and if you're not into music or culture, it's understandable that you disliked #2.

you definitely have some good movies on that list that you disliked. i'm assuming your favorite movies are really crappy.

Fear.com blows asshole. 5th element is great fun though. I think boondock gets TOO much attention. It was cool before every single guy ages 16-22 thought it was the best movie ever.

not even. it was just a plotless mess... it just followed some random high school kids around for an hour and a half w/ no real point to it, then two gay kids suddenly came and shot them all. They stretched out what should have been a 5-minute max clip of establishing what "normal high school life" was to 1 hour and 45 minutes. The only reason I even watched the whole thing was because I was in a room with ~10 friends, which made the movie halfway interesting w/ their comments. (see: mystery science theatre)
