My computer's been running loud for the past few days since I moved (2 hour drive, maybe it was damaged somehow?). I downloaded a core-temperature monitoring program and it said the temperature was at 58 C.
edit: This is under minimal workload for the cpu, just internet browsing. Task manager confirms cpus are at like 10% workload.
I have a Phenom 9850 BE, stock fan, some $80 mobo and no overclock. Is this temperature normal? I haven't cleaned the fan in a year, is that too long and is it the likely problem? It is really really loud right now.
edit:
Does that show only 3 cores running?
