fan speed on overclocking

general question on overclocking... if I plan on OC graphics card and chip on an i5 slightly, is there a downside in setting all my fan speeds in the pc, the chip and the case fans, to high?

other than the noise.. is it bad to have fans set to high?

More stress on your fans...more electricity usage...some black goats get sacrificed in Brazil...but otherwise, no.

It is possible to wear out the fans more quickly. The fan on my 5850 is dying as we speak, so be prepared to buy new case and gpu fans when(if) they start rattling.

worse case scenario can't i just get a replacement fan instead of a new case?
