Fanless laptop with 47w TDP?

Hi.

A sales rep from a custom laptop builder in my country just informed me that within a week, they would carry a fanless laptop. He couldn't specify what type of cooling it will have as he didn't know yet. Just that it was hoing to be fanless.

The thing is it has a 4750HQ with a TDP of 47w, so surely passive cooling must be out of the question?

So I'm basically hoping that you could help me figure out what type of cooling it might have?

He's probably talking about passive air cooling - a design that draws cool air in and expels warm air by convection. Vizio describes this here:

Other ulturabooks by Samsung and Acer are coming that tout passive air cooling. Check Samsung Series 9.

47w would melt a laptop on a hot summer day, no way this thing going to be fanless.

Looks to me like we're not talking "laptops" for this feature, but Ultrabooks. BTW, tablets don't have fans, but they are definitely not 47w.
