Did any of you ever watch Farscape on Sci-Fi Channel? Its been on reruns a lot lately - and the fifth season was cancelled as they started to shoot (f'ing sci-fi channel), anyhow the best damn sci-fi show on tv returns this Sunday & Monday night for four hours in a mini-series. If it goes over well enough, the show could come back, etc.

Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars will continue the adventures of astronaut John Crichton and his intergalactic comrades. Newly engaged and expectant parents John Crichton (Ben Browder) and Aeryn Sun (Claudia Black) have been chased around the galaxy and have fallen in love, and now all they want is for their baby to be born and live in peace. However, they will first have to survive an all-out galactic war between the Scarrans and the Peacekeepers as well as the myriad outlandish and unexpected surprises that have become the hallmark of this award-winning series.

I never watched it when it was running regularly on SciFi, but since SciFi seems to have run out of things to show during the day for the past 2 weeks, I started watching. It's a good show, a little odd at times, but pretty enjoyable. And the makeup and creature effects are 1000x better than anything I ever saw on a Star Trek show, by far.

Nah...the alien in the ship that shot them was told over the intercom to "process" them or something for later sampling/examination.

The "freeze-drying" of them (and later restoration) is not too much of a stretch. Recall Criton being turned into a statue and back in another episode.

The first couple times I watched the show I hated it. Eventually I learned to love it and consider it to be one of the better Sci-Fi series of all time.

The show definetely grows on you.

I was not shocked to find out they were humans. I have thought that for a long time. It is like watching SG1 and finding out humans are every freaking where.
