All my life it's been my curse to be with men who, though they might love me for my personality, prefered women who were my direct opposite in height,weight,hair/eye coloring. What I weighed never mattered because no matter what I did you couldn't change a 5ft 9 inch tall pale skinned irish girl into a 5ft tall 100 pound brown eyed brunette with a 34 DD bra size.
Would they tell you that? Or do you just think that's what they preferred?
oh most men aren't shy about telling you what they'd prefer. It's usually done under the guise of wanting to be totally "honest"
Also, once you sleep with a guy steadily, you automatically lose many attractiveness points.
One of my exes told me he usually goes for brunettes instead of blondes, but that's the most "honesty" ive ever gotten about preferring something other than me. Wow, that sounds bitchy. And I don't think you become less attractive once you sleep with a guy, especially if he really cares about you.
The woman you haven't boned is always hotter, more exotic and much, much more exciting to think about than the woman you already have.
Once you can have somebody pretty much anytime you want, they lose points big time.
Well that's the thing. If you hook up with some random guy then he'll lose the "thrill of the chase" and wanna move on to the next girl. But if a guy really cares about you then he won't be thinking about every other girl he hasn't done and he won't find you any less attractive. If anything he should find you more attractive, because he knows what you can do and what you're like in bed, and that thought alone should turn him on
People think about/fantasy about the things/people they cannot have and sometimes those things/people look much more attractive than the things/people they do.Sometimes, they actually think about those other people while they're having sex with you because as good as you are, the allure of the unknown is exciting,it's just human nature.
Of course, acting on those impulses is a whole another story,if somebody truly loves you they will find non-cheating ways to get their need for excitment met.
Sure, everyone fantasizes about what's out there. But it sounds to me like you're saying it's inevitable that, once you sleep with someone, they are going to want those fantasies and those "unknowns" more than they want you, and that seems to be a problem. A need for excitement could be to use handcuffs one night or do it in a restaurant bathroom or something, not wanting every other person thats out there just because he's had you and not them.
What kind of car do you drive ?
Ever see a really hot sports or luxury car that really turned you on, that made you sigh with longing as you climbed back into your trusty honda civic ?
That longing for that sports car doesn't mean you don't value your civic or that you're going to trade it in... but it is something to fantaze about as you drive your trusty beater.
Having dreams and fantasies makes life fuller and it's just a fact that though you might value the things you have once you have them, the newness and excitement will wear off,it's inevitable. With people though hopefully that initial excitement can be replaced with a solid, stable affectionate love.
