Just because the guys I date dress nice (in my opinion) doesn't mean they're assholes. I dated one guy in high school who treated me like complete hell, and when I finally figured out I could do better I left him and never looked back, and now when a guy starts to treat me a certain way I'm out of there. I deserve certain things, and being "treated like crap" is not one of them.

i think it's cause nice guys so often lack that sense if presence, confidence and attention. People are attracted naturally to power/influence aka leaders and lets face it, it's hard to gain power by just being nice all the time. i think girls are really looking for a moderate in-between kind of guy but if they had to choose, they would go for the guy with more confidence/power/influence even if that guy may overstep his bounds sometimes with his confidence and becomes somewhat rude or a55h0le like.

Extremely nice guys have a tendency to be weak, timid and shy. The trait is good, but it can be overdone in a person. I think one needs to have a good balance between being nice and being forward and sometimes "mean". Unfortunately, the world does not revolve around nice guys.

The majority of women have very low self-esteem (thanks in part by them jumping from relationship to relationship defining their "self" as part of somebody else's ego/ID. Its a known fact that if you treat a women like crap she will fall in love with you - most of them.
