Favorite Alcoholic drink?

beer: God, so many... let's just say newcastle 'cause it's so consistently good
mixed: God, so many... gin & tonic has always been highest on my list, but whoever discovered red bull & vodka should be given a medal. (grapefruit & vodka, aka greyhound, also good). following we have l.i. iced tea, mojito (cuban rum, lime, sugar, soda & mint drink)... it goes on

shot: God, so many... but favorite single shot has always been 0 degree farenheit jagermeister. SO good. close is something called liquid cocaine - jagermeister & goldschlager (i know people that hate both by themselves, but together they blend perfectly). absinthe is also damn good

i don't really have a favorite mixed drink because i really can't stand the taste of alcohol, so i just take the shot and get it over with instead of sipping it over a while.

Nothing beats a well made gin and tonic. Problem is, it seems nobody in the bay area can make a decent one.

Mixed: Colbito. This is the most refreshing drink on the planet!

I don't think anyplace except this one bar I go to makes Colbitos. To make one, you need oranges, simple syrup, rum and soda water. Cut the orange into 2" square wedges and throw 4 or 5 into a shaker, with peels still attached. Add a touch of simple syrup. Crush the oranges with something blunt (they use a pestle). Add ice, and equal parts soda and rum. Shake and serve in a pint glass.

BTW, if you're ever in New Orleans, the bar that invented Colbitos is called Bridge Lounge.

Tequila! Margaritas or shots. The only hard liquor I actually like the taste of.

Some dark beers are awesome too but I don't drink either very much.
