Ohh, fire is awesome. I like fire!I'll do no such thing. I'll perform a service to all of humanity and burn them in a fire.

Jalapeno and pineapple are good additions.
heh most of these "toppings" are not found on pizza of Italian origin
Onions & peppers.
Are we talking diced canadian bacon or the round, thin slices?
no olives, no pineapple, no anchovies or any other variety of seafood.
Anything else within reason is fine.
GTFO... GTFO NAO!

there's nothing wrong with pineapple as a pizza topping. Dr pizza has spoken.
No favorites, but one of the best pizzas i've ever had was a white pizza with a sort of shrimp & scallop scampi on top, buttery and garlicy, with sun dried tomatoes, and just enough slices of cheese to hold it all together. For a lighter choice, i like a little extra sauce with basil, and diced onions and green peppers - no cheese. Quite delicious. Peanut m&m's are probably the most bizarre topping i've tried that was actually edible. Swedish fish pizza sucks. Working in a pizza shop that specializes in pizza by the slice (or party trays) - and sells thousands of slices a day, afforded me plenty of opportunities to make a slice or two of hundreds of different combinations whenever there was a whim to try something new.
Oh, another awesome pizza: Taco sauce, lots of taco meat, and cheddar cheese, cooked until the crust is somewhat crispy, with some chopped up bacon added in. Then topped with shredded lettuce, black olives, chunked up pieces of tomato, jalapenos, some spicier taco sauce, and crushed up doritos or tortilla chips, with a couple dallops of sour cream.
I'll be honest - I've had pizza all over Italy, and while most of it was very good, I do think America has the best pizza.
Thats because pizza as most know it is an american bastardization. Kinda like the chinese "eggroll".
As I said, I've had it all over Italy so I can compare pretty well. "Bastardization" or not, I still think the best pizza is in the US. Pizza in Italy (and Europe in general) is different, but the core principles are the same.
