It's honestly very funny watching people equate racism with exercising liberty guaranteed by the bill of rights. Actually, I read the article, or blog, or whatever at salon linked above, and it certainly does not equate him to being a "birther," unless you believe in "guilty by association." I suggest you re-read it.

You really didn't answer my question. Is there something fundamentally wrong with Jefferson's words? Now, I'm not one to promote violence. I don't even own a gun. And I certainly don't think the presidencies of Bush nor Obama are anything even resembling a need for a call for a violent uprising. And I don't see any evidence that makes me think the dude here toting a gun would disagree with me. I think he's being demonized here, not because he lacks judgment, but because of his beliefs. The guy obviously enjoys his freedoms. Nothing wrong with that.
