fedex or UPS?

I am having a monitor off ebay shipped to me. He said I could use Fedex or UPS my choice. UPS doesnt have any problems with finding my place and supplies good tracking. Where Fedex has problems and has to call with no tracking at all.

I want to get this monitor me in one piece so which would you go with or which do you thinks more careful with handleing packages?

I've had bad experiences with both. UPS once broke a stain glass window my uncle in Colorado had shipped out to us a wedding gift (fortunately he'd insured it.) What's amazing is that he'd wrapped it so well you could've sworn you could have run over it in a car and it would have still been fine. Apparently not Fedex has never shipped anything big, but they seem to be consistently late whenever I get anything at home. What's REALLY annoying is their "new" ground service. The package will still make it to my city in one night, but they'll sit on it for several days since I didn't pay for the overnight service. So I've been using UPS more again lately.

Either way, make sure the seller is insuring for the full amount and don't sign for the box if there's any serious signs of damage, or have a camera ready on receipt. It's sad to have to suggest that but it's hard to be less careful today...

what size monitor? ups for 15-17 and fedex for 17-19. freight for 21.

Unless you want to risk your monitor being destroyed, choose FedEx.

I ordered a ViewSonic E771 from Accompany.com (RIP), they shipped via UPS, the box was thrashed but the monitor was in perfect condition and didn't have any cosmetic flaws, luckily. The UPS delivery guy actually rolled the square box from the front porch into the livingroom while my roommate was there, this is like an 8 feet journey with no stairs, why the lazy mofo had to roll my monitor I'll never know.
