On the ferrari issue - a guy in my apartment complex owned an F355 - I saw him outside one day trying to jump start it so he could sell it. (ROFL) Anyway we got to talking since I'm a car guy and he said just that - he bought the F355 because you had to be a PREVIOUS FERRARI OWNER to buy an F360.

Interestingly, he said he liked his 911 better than the F355... It was pretty odd to have these cars int he parking lot, but he rotated through 4 or 5 pretty costly rides on a constant basis. No idea what he did for a living, but seemed like a very cool guy. The people buying it were not, they were stuck up snobbish 'spending my daddy's money' types...

If I had the money to blow, I'd go buy 4-5 cars that I really liked, then invest another $10,000-$20,000 in each one and make each the fastest damn thing on the street. It's amazing what you can do when you take the factory budget for the engine and triple it. Mmmm.. .500 horsepower Jeep Wrangler... 600 hp 300ZX... 400 hp CLK... 450 hp audi TT... and maybe a nice restored Mach I or something to round out the garage.

If you could find the money, I would go with a saleen S7, but thats probably too expensive and considering I don't know much about the cars you've listed other than the Viper I will try to keep my mouth shut on which one to get.

Um... sorry to burst ur bubble, but the *really* rich people dont have to show off at all with mods or exotics. In general, *super* rich people may or may not have exotics, but they *never* drive them, except to maybe a few of the biggest parties of the year or they at least go out of the city. (At least those in LA).

Most of the mega-rich I know drive Land Rovers, Jags, or stock Mercedes S during the day. (A few prefer SL)

Occassionally I see some guy who lives near me picking up ice cream with a Lamborghini Diablo parked on the street, but those are jack asses in my opinion

Nice cars are nice, and if I had the free cash for an exotic Id get one, but I wouldnt drive it as a primary, and I wouldnt drive it for ice cream either.

Ive been talking to Qosis about this choice for quite some time, and guys, hes got a nice house and were working on a BADDDASS computer.

Heres my take. The modena is stunning. But, for the price, come on italians, take a hint from chevy with the z06, and the viper, it doesnt have to be that expensive to be fast. Vipers are great to go in a straight line. It might not be classy, but gee golly its got style.

Ive gotta say, if u wanted speed and style, here are a few choices.

Old ferrari. My favorite is the Dino, but mad rare and expensive if you dont want an ugly year.

Widebody porsche turbo, one of the most beautiful things my eyes have ever layed on.

Vipers are saweeet.

what about the amg SLK and C classes that were in my recent motor trend? something like a 3.5 litre engine with a blower, cool looks, and mindbogglingly fast.

Many people have nice homes, but they don't have a few hundred thousand dollars lying around for an exotic car.

It's true I have a nice home, but the reason I'm taking out a loan is becuase my new company is requiring 3 million dollars for startup, my company was given a 2.5 million dollar ivnestment, and 500,000 is coming out of my pocket. Which leaves me with 200,000 left, and I want some buffer incase I run into some troubels.
