I'm in the process of trying to setup my computer to playback DVD's as best as it can, and I hear that setting up a DVD player to work with FFDshow post-processing is the best way to do that.
Unfortunately, I don't even know where to start. I do not have any DVD software on my computer as of yet, and the one guide I found on setting up FFDshow requires other software that must be purchased.
Is there any software that is free, and works with FFDshow? also, is there a guide or something that can clearly explain how I would go about setting this up? Playing DVD's has always just been popping in the disc and watching it using the default software on the computer, like PowerDVD, so I really have no experience with this kind of thing and I really don't know where to start!
ANY suggestions would be appreciated...
