Hi everyone. This is my first post here and I am happy to to be here.
I guess Ill get right to the point. About a month or two I switched from IE to Mozilla's Firefox. Best decidsion I have ever used. Pop-ups and highjacks are a thing of the past. Anyway, I was surfing newegg.com one day and for some reason, my ENTIRE system locked up. Im talking FREEZE. oh...yeah specs:
AMD Athlon 64 2800+
Abit KV8 with OTES cooling the power circuits
1 gig (512x2) Corsair VS @ CAS Latency 2.5 (if thats important)
Enermax 465W PSU with 33A running on the 12V rail
80Gb Western Digital SATA HDD with 8 mb buffer
40GB IDE Maxtor backup (from my old computer)
AOpen DVD/CD-RW combo
MSI 52x CD-ROM
Sapphire RADEON 9600 Atlantis
SB Live! Value
4 80mm case fans
Thermaltake 80mm CPU cooler
Nothing overclocked, all setting stock except I slightly upped the RAM voltage just a bit for stability under the advice from Shamus @ the FPS Central boards.
So far gaming has been rock solid, but every time I visit newegg.com (EVERY time) it locks up.
Does Anyone know what the problem might be? Is newegg an IE only website? Does Mozzila have any known issues with it?
Thanks for your help in advance.
