Something sounds quite wrong with your install. Google is the default engine for the search bar. And it shouldn't open tabs like you describe.

SOLUTION:
Adblock Plus: Check "Disable on this page only"
AND
Flashblock: Add www.pandora.com to the whitelist

This worked on two workstations. Stable and happy!

so it overwrites the old firefox? or does it install as a separate install from 1.5? 1.5.0.8 just came out it seems, and well the tabs are all now on a single row and the memory usage seems better. is 2.0 really that different from 1.508? i can to turn the tab close button on the right back on using tabsmix plus i prefer aiming for that corner X instead of an x on every annoying tab
