Firefox sometimes not loading properly

Hi,

Every now and then (say 20% of the time), opening a new firefox window causes it to not load completely. Basically, I can't type anything in the address bar, and the bookmark toolbar is left blank. It isn't hanging or anything, like I can close it with 'X' and re-open it, but it's still frustrating. I'm currently on 1.0.6, but the previous version (1.0.5 or so) was doing this too. Does anyone know what causes this?

I have the same experience except It seems more like 40% of the time. I haven't identified the cause though.

I've not experienced this particular problem personally, but I have experience weird problems in the past that were caused by flaky extensions, or otherwise reliable extensions that behaved badly when used alongside certain other extensions - I had one the other day that broke "add bookmarks" if I had more than one tab open. If you use a few extensions, it might be worth having a play - removing them and adding them one at a time, then testing them, just in case

Have you tried the 1.5 Beta? They fix a lot of issues and bugs in this release. Perhaps it will solve the problem you are having.
