Oh, I don't believe a word of it. The press release reads like the ones I get from Canadian mining juniors, utter bullshit. It's really funny when I have personal knowledge of a project and read the crap the mining companies tell their investors. The thing saving these companies is that they don't have an SEC watching them. That's just posting the shit from the other. Which is all any of this is, cyclical shit, of them citing the same empty shit over and over as though its different. And its all the same people that have been doing this same shit for years.
At least what's his face with the eCat shit would post something claiming how the study was run and the inputs/outputs. This is literally just a press release providing no actual info other than one bullshitter claiming he witnessed something (which seems to be all over the place, I've seen others claiming it was 5x, this says 3x, so even this is fishy as fuck at the most basic level).
If the image included is their version of this, their device is in a plastic shell, and its producing electricity from hydrogen plasma? JFC, I hope you guys don't actually believe plasma is forming inside there and not melting the plastic (or even glass if its inside a glass tube inside of the plastic, whilst creating as much electricity as they claim.
All I know is that Biberian and another respected person in this field have put their names behind the preliminary results. I don't think we are in Rossi territory, but sadly there are people involved that have had some shady dealings in the past. Some of the doubts surrounding the self sustaining aspect of the project are related to some components breaking down in the power recovery. The problem is that no one has a satisfactory theory about what is actually taking place leading to issues like this.Oh, I don't believe a word of it. Fusion in 20 years. Same as Chinese Democracy and Blue Texas.A US firm has absolutely destroyed the previous record for fusion ...
"plasma fusion temperatures of 392 million degrees Fahrenheit (18 keV X-rays) for 24 hours."

Going to need some details for that "added water". How did they use it, where did they place it, why do they believe it made a difference?Still not understanding how “just add water” works so well with this process.
These nobodies are promising something that doesn't exist, in less than a decade.Startup says there going to build a commercial fusion reactor at a facility near Richmond Virginia, and will plug it into the grid by "the early 2030's." It's almost certainly a huge over-promise. They're not going to get it that right on their first design of a commercial fusion reactor. Nonetheless, I support any sort of funding going toward fusion.
Yet, another problem has been identified, if they are using tritium. These nobodies are promising something that doesn't exist, in less than a decade.
Someone might want to let Virginia know they're about to get scammed by some "tech bros". Probably a shell company owned by God-Emperor Musk.
Do you guys rewatch Iron Sky on movie nights?Time to mine the moon for helium-3!
I guess I should have been more careful with the tritium I used in grad school. My bad.Yet, another problem has been identified, if they are using tritium.
The fuel supply quandary of fusion power reactors
While there will be no tritium fuel shortage for several decades, eventually there will be a crippling fuel problem because of shortcomings in tritium replenishment. The solution is to generate and burn the tritium within an ignited deuterium-fueled plasma, a daunting hurdle.thebulletin.org
Uh? Rewatch the Expanse mayabe.Do you guys rewatch Iron Sky on movie nights?
Iron Sky is more fun and it is about 3HeUh? Rewatch the Expanse mayabe.
It's real neat when the tritium alarm comes on when you are on a sub. Fortunately, is was a false alarm.I guess I should have been more careful with the tritium I used in grad school. My bad.

Thanks for that post. I have to say, that video from inside the reactor is cool as sh1t!Nuclear fusion breakthrough: China's artificial sun sets world record

Nice photos there, of the reactor.
