Did the pencil trick on my Duron 800 last night, and everything seems to be fine...BUT it doesn't seem like Windows likes anything above 9x100. Cooling is still fine--no temperature difference really at all. I think some of the stability issues are related to some windows tweaks I did, but those seem under control now--benchmarks will complete. It won't boot at 9.5x100 at all, and 9x104 started but seemed a little flaky. What should I do to squeeze a little more out of it? Up the voltage, and if so, how much to start out? I was getting 8x104 no problem before--I'd like to at least get 100 MHz higher than that if possible. I'm running a MSI Kt7-Pro2a motherboard, with bios 2.7 and the latest overclocking bios from MSI, and 384mb of generic PC133 memory. Any help you can give this newbie overclocker would be great--it's certainly been a lot of fun!
