Fixing speaker wire

Noooo i just broke my speaker wire on my stereo. It is a dual wire, one black and one red, which clips into the stereo. The black one is severed. How do I fix it? Thanks for your help.

Either resplice the wire or get more speaker cable?

speaker wire is relatively inexpensive. or you could PM viperoni and make it yourself

i've heard braided cat5 works well

You heard wrong.

Braided Cat5 sucks in every way, shape, and form as speaker wire. It's only 26 guage fer cryin' out loud..

Anything smaller than 18guage is worthless for speaker wire.
